News is hot, Royal Enfield – company behind the Bullet series has launched two variations of the Bullet Classic model in India. Bullet Classic 500 and Bullet Classic 350 are both Jumbo bikes and retain the classic look Royal Enfield’s are known for.

Both the bikes have Unitary Construction Engine and fuel injection. The Classic 500 and 350 will be the first Royal Enfield bikes in India to have this feature. In the previous bikes, the engine and transmission were separate, but Unitary construction of the engine means that the engine and transmission have been combined into a single unit.

Many Royal Enfield Bullet fans that didn’t like the wheels on previous motorcycles will be happy to know that the new Classic 500 as well as the Classic 350 have 18-inch wheels. Both look equally awesome and classy.

Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 is able to produce around 27.2 BHP at 5250 RPM and a maximum torque of 41.3 NM at 4,000 RPM whileas the 350cc sibling produces 19.8 BHP at 5250 rpm and a maximum torque of 24 NM at 4000 RPM. Both the motorcyles feature electronic fuel injection as well as electronic start.

On the launch event, Royal Enfield said, “blending yesteryear’s charm and today’s technology, the Classic is a tribute to the glorious machines of the past and is ready to roar into the future.” However charm and technology don’t come cheap. Both the bikes are pretty expensive. The cheaper and lesser powerful Bullet Classic 350 comes at a price of Rupees Rs.98,800 ex-showroom Delhi while the more expensive Bullet Classic 500 EFI is priced at Rs. 124000 in Delhi.
