PG-Bikes’ BT-01 is One Badass Electric Bike

The PG-Bikes BT-01 is a purpose-built electric bike wrought in carbon fiber, aluminum, and fine English leather. The wicked steed was designed by PG-Bikes of Germany and engineered by F1 engineering firm UBC. The thing weighs a scant 44 pounds, with is amazing considering the big honkin’ battery pack wedged into its frame. It rocks high-tech Varus carbon-fiber wheels, disc brakes, and a classic Brooks leather saddle. The 48-volt drive train puts out about 1.6 horsepower and charges to 80 percent in 30 minutes
